6 October 2016 - Curry Night and Jumble Sale (not combined!)

This Newsbite could be described as a Maureen missive.
Firstly Maureen the Mill tells me that there are a limited number of tickets still available for the Pop-up Curry Night in the Mission Hall on Saturday 15 October starting at 7pm. The cost is £12.50 a head, and you take your own liquid refreshment. If you fancy sampling the flavours of the orient in the ambience of Sutton Poyntz, contact Maureen on 835533.
Secondly Maureen (Mo) Martin rang to say that the Weymouth East Scouts Autumn Jumble Sale will take place on Saturday 29 October in the Scutt Hall, doors open at 2pm. All money raised will be going towards maintaining the Hall for the benefit of our local youngsters, so if you have any items that they could sell, look them out and take them along to the Hall any weekday evening. Mo and Dave can arrange for collection, but in this case perhaps you could hold onto your items until about 5 days before the event and then give Mo a ring on 836322. And, of course, don't forget to go along on 29 October for bargains galore.
