Come and taste the Victorian life in the beautiful village of Sutton Poyntz.

This biennial event is happening on the 29th June 2014 and is based throughout the village of Sutton Poyntz, near Weymouth. They have already signed up many entertainers for the two stages to keep the music humming throughout the day. From a Male Voice choir the Mill Singers to a drumming sensation Taiko Evolution and singers with ballads and rock and roll in between from the following, Charlie, Andy Grant Trio, Neil Coad, Pop Club and the Preston Pantomime.

In addition there will be stalls the villagers help stock and run including Perfect Presents, a gardening stall and shabby chic furniture. We also are pleased to welcome again the Farmers Market and a wide selection of Commercial stalls. The craft stalls include Patchwork quilters, a stained glass artist, potters, bag designer and many more……….. plenty for all.

If you are bringing children the first thing to note is they get in free, there is plenty for them to see and do, starting off with the Children’s Victorian Hat Parade around the Pond a specific area for them with bouncy castles and plenty of activities and games aimed at the younger person including Hoop a hedgehog, Flip the frog and splat the rat, there will even be a story teller to keep them enthralled.

If you are thirsty or hungry throughout the day refreshments abound, local homemade Beef burgers, in the Mission Hall you will find sandwiches, cakes, teas and other drinks. Strawberries and cream will be on offer on the way to the Waterworks museum. Of course the local Springhead pub will have a great selection of wine, lagers, beers and cider to keep you going.

This is a charity based event and many good causes have benefited over the years so please do come and help us all help others less fortunate than ourselves. The entry fee is £3.00 however parking is free.
