   From East Hill: Start at the top of the path up from White Horse Lane, above Margaret's Seat

   From East Hill: The path towards the top of Plaisters Lane, and to Greenhill, goes slightly south of west - head towards the round barrow on the skyline. Half right, you will get a good view of the ruins of Northdown Barn, a late 18th Century barn

 From Greenhill: Follow the track along the Ridgeway, through two gates and straight on to the junction between the Ridgeway path and the path down the hill past Margaret's Seat to the village

   From East Hill: Follow the path until it reaches the top end of Plaisters Lane. For Greenhill, turn left down the road for about 20 yards, and turn right across a stile to the next section of the path

   From East Hill: From Plaisters Lane, go over two stiles and turn half right onto the path that takes you between Greenhill, on the right, and Charlbury on the left

 From Greenhill: Go over two stiles, and out into Plaisters Lane. For the Ridgeway path to East Hill, turn left up the road for about 20 yards, and turn right through a gate onto the next section of the Ridgeway path
