From Sutton Poyntz: At the top end of Sutton Road, by the Waterworks, turn right into White Horse Lane.

From Sutton Poyntz: To the end of White Horse Lane, and out throught the two gates. To Sutton Poyntz: Through the two gates, into White Horse Lane, and thence to the top end of Sutton Road.

From Sutton Poyntz: The footpath to Osmington runs alongside the hedge. It can be heavy in winter. The path up the hill past the White Horse branches off soon, and crosses the field diagonally.

   To Sutton Poyntz: At the end of the field, keep straight on, through the two gates, and into White Horse Lane. Another path here heads straight up the hill, to Margaret's Seat and East Hill.

  To Sutton Poyntz: After the stile, the path swings left and runs towards Sutton Poyntz alongside the hedge.

From Sutton Poyntz: At the end of the field, swing right, go over the stile, and cross to the bottom corner of the next field. This takes you to another stile; carry on diagonally across the next field.

   To Sutton Poyntz: Go through the next stile, and carry straight on diagonally across the next field, to a gate. After the gate, carry straight on again, diagonally across another field to another stile.

From Sutton Poyntz: Carry straight on across the next field, towards an opening. This shows the view towards Osmington and Picton Barn beyond.

  To Sutton Poyntz: Cross the field diagonally, towards a stile in the hedge.

From Sutton Poyntz: Go through the gap in the hedge, and follow the path to the right and then the left.  

The view up to the Ridgeway, and the track from Osmington to the White Horse.

  To Sutton Poyntz: Follow the path as it swings to the right, and then left through a gap in the hedge. Then follow the path diagonally across the field, towards a stile in the far hedge.

From Sutton Poyntz: Follow the path towards the bottom end of Church Lane in Osmington.  

  To Sutton Poyntz: Follow the path towards Sutton Poyntz, enjoying the views of the Ridgeway and the White Horse.

  To Sutton Poyntz: Go through the stile from Church Lane, out into the meadows. Follow the path.

  To Sutton Poyntz: At the bottom of Church Lane in Osmington, you can take the track straight on, which climbs up the Ridgeway, towards the White Horse. The direct path to Sutton Poyntz is off to the left, marked by a sign.
