Near the start of Plaisters Lane, on the left hand side, stand two cottages called Prospect House and Prospect Cottage. Old Ordnance Survey maps mark the site of the old Chapel in Sutton Poyntz just behind here. This is one of three plausible sites for the Chapel, which fell into disuse several hundred years ago. Sadly, there is no certainty about its location.

Corner Cottage, on the corner between Plaisters Lane and Mission Hall Lane, is a recent cottage standing on the site of a former motor works. Before that, village shops used to occupy this site.

Just north of the junction between Plaisters Lane and Mission Hall Lane is the gate into the field which is used for car parking for the Sutton Poyntz Street Fayre every other year. This is the view across the field, which was formerly known as Court Close, towards the waterworks and East Hill in the distance.
