29 October 2023 - Victorian Street Fayre 2024 in danger of not going ahead

The open meeting held on Friday 27th October to discuss the Sutton Poyntz Victorian Street Fayre unfortunately did not result in a committee to run this event in 2024.
Therefore if you want to help and run a committee please e-mail David Langridge
The roles needed are as follows - Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Manpower, Entertainment, Publicity/PR/Facebook, Pimms & Strawberries, Parking, Village Stalls, Equipment
Any clarity needed on what those roles entail please again e-mail David who can give you more information.
As I have said I will not do the Chairman position given other commitments I have with family and work but I am happy to take up Treasurer or Entertainment potentially, plus of course offer guidance to the incoming Chairman.
It will be sad if we cannot continue as it is an excellent community event and we help so many people with the charities we support. Therefore if you feel the same please e-mail me with firm commitments to help by end of day on Friday 10th November.
