What is Regulation 14 consultation?

Regulation 14 consultation is a formal consultation process required once a draft Neighbourhood Plan has been created, to allow "stakeholders" (residents, landowners, business owners, local workers, local authorities and other agencies) to comment. The representations received are then assessed by the Neighbourhood Plan team, who modify the draft where appropriate before submitting the Neighbourhood Plan to the Local Authority. A 6-week period is required for this consultation.

An anonymised version of the Regulation 14 Consultation Report is available here. In addition, a record of verbal comments received during the Regulation 14 Consultation Open Days is available.
