There are three pubs within staggering distance:

• The Springhead - located right in the heart of the village overlooking the pond.  Sponsor of many local events, and, at one time or another, employing most of the village youth as they grow up
• The Spice Ship - just at the top of Sutton Road on the main Preston Road.  Don't miss Stracey's Fish & Chips nearby!
• The Bridge Inn - tucked away in a secluded corner but easily reached by taking the shortcut alley off Puddledock Lane (south)
