The Mission Hall

The Hall is situated on a narrow lane. There is drop off/unloading space in front of the Hall and free parking nearby.
The maximum capacity is 60 people. There are chairs, tables and a well-equipped kitchen which can cater for this number.
The Hall is accessible throughout. There are two WCs, one of which has access for wheelchairs.
Outdoor events and catering can be done in the flat orchard garden area next to the Hall. This has a short, narrow, sloping entry path making access difficult.

STOP PRESS - July 2024 - The Mission Hall has received a grant of £14,124 from the National Lottery Community Fund, as a contribution towards planned improvement and maintenance work. The grant is specifically to help fund replacement double-glazed windows, thermal insulation and woodworm treatment in the roof space, and minor roof repairs. This is in addition to two grants of £5,000 that we have received from the Dr & Mrs Alfred Darlington Trust and from the Valentine Charitable Trust for other building works. We are of course hugely grateful to these organisations for their support for our village, which wil allow us to make the Mission Hall a much more comfortable and attractive place for its users. We are currently obtaining quotes for the planned building works, and will send out information when we have a schedule for the work
