11 January 2024 - February Coffee Morning
As previously mentioned, there will be a special coffee morning on February 2nd in aid of Motor Neurone Disease. You'll recall that most famously Prof Steven Hawking, and more recently the Rugby League player Rob Burrow, suffered from this condition - and we have a couple of people in the village affected. Margaret Sykes, a much-loved and long-time member of our community sadly just died of this condition, and we hope some of her family will be at the coffee morning. There'll also be a representative from the West Dorset MND support group attending, and there will be a Raffle to up the funds even more. Please do make an effort to support this worthwhile event - and because so many of you will be coming we will exceptionally start early at 10.00am.
