12 February 2024 - Don Brierley
It's with great sadness that we pass on the news that Don Brierley died on Saturday. Don and his wife, Irene, have lived in the village over 40 years since he was appointed as Principal of Weymouth College. He was a force for good, serving on the Sutton Poyntz Society Committee as Secretary for many years.
As you walk up Sutton Road, cast your eye to the right and look at the bank up against the old Evangelical Church. Don and Irene spent many hours getting this to the beautiful state it's in now - and as the flowers bloom through the year think of Don.
