Sutton Poyntz

Dear friends,

 

An update on the two planning applications for the field off Plaisters Lane (application numbers WP/15/00081/FUL and WP/15/00088/FUL). Following the village meeting on the 13th February, and a Sutton Poyntz Society committee meeting on the 19th February, the Society's policy is to oppose this development, on the basis that it offends against 5 of our 7 Society planning policies and in particular will do visual damage to the Conservation Area and the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

 

The Society's submission is at an advanced draft stage. If anyone wishes to see a copy to help them to decide what action they individually will take, please contact us by replying to this email. The closing date for submissions is 7th May - please contact us if you want advice about the process.

 

You can see the two applications with all their documentation (plans, landscape assessment, drainage report etc.) by going to the Borough Council's planning datastore at http://webapps.westdorset-dc.gov.uk/PlanningApps/Pages/Search.aspx and searching for "Plaisters". This also allows you to view representations that have already been made, and gives you a way of putting in your own representations.
