Dear friends,
At the recent SP Committee Meeting the Planning Application for 42 Sutton Road was discussed and concern expressed at the proposed housing density and at the assumption that on-street parking was available in the area around the junction of Sutton Road and Wilmslow Road. This concern will be conveyed to the Planning Authorities. Contact any committee member if you need advice on how to make a submission.
Nice news from a local resident
"We had friends over for the day and we took them to the Springhead in the afternoon. Next morning I realised I had left my hand bag there with my purse, cash and mobile phone. Thankfully they had found it so I would like to say a big thank you to the staff, you are the best."
A spokesperson for the Springhead said the lady was very kind, and donated £20 to Margaret's Seat fund!
.............and on the subject of Margaret's Seat.
Jez Cunningham, Bill Egerton and John Crisp visited Albion Stone to view the seat and make arrangements for delivery and installation
An opening ceremony is being planned for 9 August, which will be attended by Mick and Kathryn Hobson..
And finally...............
Jez Cunningham noticed a BBC blog which, he says, makes nice reading

It's a little too flowery for my taste, but the pictures are nice, and as one who comes from west of Offa's Dyke, I can confirm that the sheep look very good
