Good evening everyone,

The restrictions are

Convoy working in operation from Wednesday 4 November to the Friday 13 November 2015. (between 09.00 and 16.00 hrs according to the DCC Resurfacing Stakeholder letter cjh)

 A road closure between 09:00 and 16:00 hrs on Monday 9 November to Wednesday 11 November 2015

 If you would like further information:

  • ·       concerning access or the work being undertaken, please call Dorset Highways Operations Team on 01305 228100;

  • ·       concerning this notice please call Dorset Highways’ road space management team on 01305 221020;

  • ·       concerning these and other roadworks in your area visit: www.roadworks.org

Ian Bruce says "The notice shows a long diversion round the Relief Road out to Dorchester and then back via Broadmayne and Crossways.  However you can be sure most local traffic will turn into Sutton Road and cut through to Broadmayne via the top road.  DCC will probably put up a “not suitable for large vehicles” sign on the entrance to Sutton Road but if I was an owner of a car normally parked in Sutton Road I would find somewhere else to park it during those three days."

Regards

Chris
