25 April 2017 - Defibrillator training
Dear all,
As you are no doubt aware, the Village has its own Defibrillator, which can be used to shock back into action the heart of a person that is suffering from a heart spasm and hopefully save their life after a 'heart attack'.
Simon Allison, our local First Responder, has kindly been giving training sessions, in CPR and the use of the device, in the Mission Hall. These don't take long, thirty minutes in fact, and the next sessions will be tomorrow, Wednesday 26 April at 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm, 8 pm and 8.30pm.
There's nothing too difficult - if I can do it, anybody can - so please do make the effort to go along tomorrow at one of these times. After all, the life you save might be that of a loved one.
Best regards
Chris
