Dear Mr Hubbard,
Please would you distribute this poster advertising an event the South Dorset Ridgeway Project are putting on at the Mission Hall on Friday the 26thMay from 10-16.00.It is essential that people book with me because we will be moving out into the landscape to conduct some archaeological recording in the afternoon.We prioritising local people so it would be helpful if a postcode could be provided at the time of booking.
The purpose of the event is to share archaeological knowledge, both information that the ‘experts’ think is important and we would like to gather community interests and priorities. It is also hoped that participants will be inspired by this event to conduct further recording of archaeology in the landscape.
