As always on a Monday morning, the Chatty Craft Group will be meeting in the Mission Hall on 4 June between 10am and noon. If you have a skill you could share, want to see what is on offer, or would just like to have a chat, do drop in. One example of some of the many things going on is the teddy bears that are being knitted for nursing staff to give out to children who have to visit an A&E department. One young lady was seen emerging from the hospital very pleased with her new bear! It costs just £2 a session and that includes refreshments. Remember, every Monday morning at 10am.

 

The SP WI will be meeting this coming Wednesday, 6 June in the Mission Hall between 2pm and 4pm. This month's guest speaker, Lyn Kenchington, will be giving a talk on 'Loneliness and isolation'. This thriving and friendly group welcome newcomers - just drop in for an afternoon to see what they are about. There's no obligation to join the WI on a first visit - they will be very pleased to see you.
