29 June 2018 - SPAM Meeting
Dear all,
Yesterday I detailed three things happening in the Village next week, but have been taken to task by Jez - and he is not one to disobey lightly - for failing to mention the monthly meeting of SPAM in the Springhead at 20.00 hrs on Monday 2 July. I do apologise to all Spamites for the omission, but such events do not figure largely on my radar as I am a lifetime teetotaller - my only vice is telling fibs. The England game is on Tuesday, so we should have a good turn-out to enjoy the great wit and repartee that always accompanies these gatherings. I'll see you there for a light libation of sparkling spring water.
