Just time to wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year before reminding you of the Coffee Morning in the Mission Hall this coming Friday, 3 January, between 10.30am and 12 noon. This will be an oasis of calm and reflection after the hectic events of the festive season. A chance to casually mention the gifts you received – that Cartier watch or the hamper from Harrods food hall that needed three men to carry it into your kitchen – or to discuss the unseasonably dry weather we have been experiencing, or to debate the exciting events documented in the recent SP Newsletter. For just £3 you will receive tea/coffee, a piece of delicious homemade cake and all the conversation you could desire, some of it even your own. So see you next year, if not before.
