Dear all,
Some advance notice of a Charity Coffee Morning being held in the Mission Hall for a very good cause, Cancer Research UK. Their tag line is “A coffee morning to beat Cancer sooner”, which I’m sure is a sentiment with which we would all agree. The date for you to scribe in your diaries or electronic devices is Friday 24 January between 10 am and noon. It costs £3 a person for your coffee and cake, and there will be a chance to enter a raffle to further swell the funds. We all know people who have been affected by cancer, so please drop in, enjoy the company and refreshments and give generously to help bring forward new treatments for this modern scourge.
