3 February 2020 - Success of Charity Coffee morning
Dear all,
Recently I went away for a walking weekend so unfortunately missed the Cancer Research UK Coffee Morning in the Mission Hall. But I must have been the only one that did because Hilary tells me that it was packed out and that you helped to raise over £630 - a huge increase on last year - for much needed research. She would like to thank all those who came along and all those who helped with cakes, in the kitchen and with raffle prizes. She went on to say that she is very grateful to everyone, and happy to live among such generous people. I also think that we owe her a vote of thanks for her sterling organisation which will benefit so many people.
