O la la, c’est un soir Francais a la Mission Hall …… sorry, I had forgotten that not all of you are as fluent in the same 29 languages as wot I is, so I’ll translate.
I have it on good authority – from Maureen, no less, and it doesn’t come any gooder than that – there will be a French themed Supper night in the Mission Hall on Saturday, 29 February starting at 7pm (local time).
The menu is Coq au vin, baby potatoes and mixed vegetables, followed by French Apple /Almond tart, with cream, cheese and coffee/tea (there will also be a vegetarian option available). The cost is only £12/head (14.27 euros at today’s exchange rate) and you are welcome to bring your own liquid refreshment, be that a fine French wine, real ale or a bottle of finest Sutton Poyntz water.
