Huge thanks to all those folk who helped plant 2,000 bulbs in just over an hour! The sun shone; there was much merriment and not a little perspiration. We await the spring to see the results. Thanks especially to Jon Waterman for organizing it all.
And another horticultural venture... Open Gardens is set for June 17th and 18th 2023. The charities we will be supporting this time are Cancer Research UK and Dementia UK. In 2015 we raised more than £5,000! So if you have a garden, small or large, finished or a work-in-progress, please consider letting others enjoy the fruits of your labours! By the way, I am told that now is the time to tidy gardens and collect cuttings for the plant stall at this event, so channel your inner Titchmarsh and pot up a few snippings!
